Group Condemns Ahmed Maiwada’s Illegal Declaration of Self as ANA President as real Election holds 28th of March, 2020.

GROUP CONDEMNS AHMED MAIWADA’S ILLEGAL DECLARATION OF SELF AS ANA PRESIDENT AS REAL ELECTION HOLDS 28TH OF MARCH, 2020.

Bring Back ANA Movement has condemned and described the recent action taken by some literary insurgents in ANA led by Ahmed Maiwada of ANA Abuja as illegal, unconstitutional and a criminal act.
This was contained in a press statement issued in Ibadan today and made available by Wole Adedoyin, a member of the Movement.

Adedoyin who expressed concern with what he described as the unrelenting desperation of some literary insurgents in ANA to destroy the Association in order to execute and achieve their selfish agenda.

According to the Statement “This is a criminal act. It is against the Constitution of the Society. The real ANA National Election will hold on the 28th of March, 2020. The so called rebels know they can’t win any election in ANA so they connived with ANA Abuja Chairman, Haluma Usman , who convened a decoy peace meeting of few disgruntled chapter chairmen who Maiwada had bought with money and all sorts if inducement to support him at the botched Enugu ANA elections. They perfected their evil plot by deceiving a few other persons to attend their shameful gathering where an illegal elections that disenfranchised the ANA Congress was purportedly held.They are sure of losing a proper elections in ANA the reason why they disrupted the Enugu elections with motor-park type thuggery. They have expended millions of naira to take possession of ANA but ANA Members rebutted their moves. This led to their latest action of organizing illegal and unconstitutional meeting/elections. ANA Members across the nooks and crannies of the country should ignore this latest move by the literary insurgents because the interest of ANA is greater than the interest of any individual. According to our findings, only six state chapters out of the thirty six ANA Chapters attended their so called illegal meeting/elections. The 23 chapters they claimed attended was a fat lie they cannot substantiate The rest of the Chapters boycotted the illegal meeting. Their election is fake, no members of ANA Trustees or the Advisory Council attended their fake elections.

Bring Back ANA Movement therefore condemned in strong terms the unconstitutional meeting/elections and the stance of the rebellious group and call on ANA members nationwide, resist their attempts to give legitimacy to their despicable action.

Bring Back ANA Movement wondered why the so called rebel group conducted illegal election few weeks to the golden date given by the newly formed ELCOM under the Chairmanship of Prof. Jerry Agada. The motive behind their undemocratic and illegal action is to plunge ANA into a pre-election crisis.

The Movement further noted that the action of the so called newly elected literary rebels/insurgents was not only shocking and irresponsible but also ill-motivated, and admonished ANA Members and pressmen to disregard their action as they are looking for cheap popularity where there is none.

Adedoyin finally called on the registered trustees of ANA and the legally constituted ANA Advisory Council to suspend chapters/members who wishes to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of ANA and the forthcoming ANA National Elections.
